The Bugatti Veyron is a super car designed and developed by Volkswagen Group and produced in Molsheim, France by Bugatti Automobiles SAS since 2005 The Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport, Bugatti Veyron Super Sport, Bugatti Veyron Super Vitesse Bugatti Veyron and are the current models from $ 1.3 million.
The basic version of the car (Veyron 16.4) was continued until 2011, and later versions Grand Sport and Super Sport was launched in 2009 and 2010.
This car is a perfectly balanced combination of high power performance and elegant design.
His design honors a great heritage in automotive history, resulting in the typical Bugatti profile with the classic.
The rear, with 1.99 m wide, features a retractable spoiler that change position depending on the speed at which it is flowing. The Veyron perfectly fulfills an uncompromising combination of more elegance and latest technology.
The Veyron features a 16 cylinder engine, tetraturbo, w16 cylinders, equivalent to two narrow-angle V8 blocks. Each cylinder has four valves for a total of sixty four, but the narrow staggered V8 configuration that allows two camshafts to drive two banks of cylinders so only four camshafts need. The engine is fed by four turbochargers and displaces 7,993 cubic centimeters (487.8 cu in), with a square 86 by 86 mm (3.4 by 3.4 in) bore and stroke. Transmission is dual clutch Direct Shift Gearbox. It also has permanent four wheel drive using the Haldex clutch system. It uses special Michelin PAX Run flat tires, designed specifically to accommodate the Veyron’s top speed, to around $ 25 000 per game. Tires can only be removed from the rims in France, a service that costs $ 70,000. Its curb weight is 1888 kg (4162 lbs). This gives the car a power to weight ratio of 446.3 to 1001 hp (328 kW) per tonne. The wheelbase of the car is 2,710 mm (106.7 inches). The total length is 4,462 mm (175.7 inches), width of 1,998 mm (78.7 inches) and height of 1,204 mm (47.4 inches). The Bugatti Veyron has a total of eleven radiators:
3 heat exchangers to the air-liquid exchanger.
4 engine radiators.
1 for the air conditioning system.
1 radiator transmission oil.
1 differential oil radiator.
1 radiator engine oil
It has a drag coefficient of 0.41 (normal condition) and 0.36 (after deploying the spoiler) and a frontal area of 2.07 square meters (22.3 square feet) This gives it a drag area – the combination of drag coefficient and frontal area, represented as CdA – 0.74 m² (8.0 square feet).
The maximum speed of the vehicle is 415 km / h acceleration time from 0 to 100 km / h in 2.46 s. The 4-wheel drive and rear mid-engine will provide more stability and a balanced distribution of power. If you pass the 230 km / h, a rear spoiler is deployed to keep it stable and close to the ground unless you block and targets a key in a lock under the driver’s door to lock the spoiler to reach maximum speed.
